Landscape architects who specialise in urban design and landscape design in the UK.
Based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, the practice was established by directors Chris Bottle and Mark Gibbins in March 2000 and employs four qualified landscape architects and additional support staff.
From our base in Wiltshire, we work throughout the UK on a wide range of projects, varying in scale from intimate courtyards through to extensive commercial developments. Our clients include retailers, developers, healthcare trusts, local authorities, architects and private individuals.
Our aim with every project, large or small, is simple: design excellence which exceeds client requirements and stands the test of time..
This philosophy has brought us a loyal and expanding client base together with many repeat commissions.
EXPERIENCE:
Indigo’s continuing success is based upon our broad experience gained from working on many high profile projects and from our understanding of the commercial marketplace.
Our knowledge is extensive and covers all building sectors in the UK, from the development of green-field sites for major new-build schemes, through to urban regeneration projects and the restoration of historic landscapes and public parks.
We are therefore able to tailor truly individual, yet appropriate, solutions to each scheme.

With a director overseeing every project, we take pride in our consistent and proactive approach. We understand the importance of listening to our clients and analysing both the site and their requirements rigorously.
Exploring all potential solutions, we relish each opportunity to create attractive and stimulating environments which have reason and purpose..
Our schemes are also practical, sustainable, cost conscious and are thought through with meticulous attention to detail. Negotiations with planning authorities and other statutory bodies are handled confidently but sensitively, aided by our thorough approach.
When projects reach site, we work with carefully selected contractors in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect to ensure that a successful finished product is always achieved.

We provide a comprehensive service and believe passionately that excellent external environments are the result of an integrated team effort.
We have strong links with other key professionals such as architects, ecologists, arboricultural consultants and engineers, who complement the input we provide.
Typical services include site analysis, feasibility studies, landscape & visual assessment, masterplanning, urban design, detailed hard landscape and planting design, planning negotiations, cost estimation, preparation of tender documentation, contract administration and quality control of works on site..
Where required we also act as expert witness at Public Inquiries.
